Village of Chaseburg hosts Chicken-Q

CHASEBURG, Wis. (WKBT) -- It is known for the best ever chicken.

Volunteers cook anywhere from 280 to 285 halves of chicken.

The event raises money for the American Cancer Society.

"We have raised last year $189,000, the year before was over $200,000, and in the 18 years that we have been doing this, we've raised over $2 million dollars for the American Cancer Society," said volunteer Monty Gilbertson.

Their next big event will be a tractor drive in July.
