Tomah High School show choir wins national championship

TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) -- It was a big day for the city of Tomah, as the Tomah High School Show Choir took home a national championship.

A welcome home rally was held on Sunday with both parents and community members celebrating the victory.

The show choir won grand champion, best band, best choreography, best vocals, and best female soloist.

The director of "Limited Edition" says it is amazing to see these students grow over time.

"I couldn't believe the success this year, but it's the kids. Anything I ask them to do this year, they just go above and beyond," said Kate Buehner.

She adds her goal for next year is to continue building the program.
