CFAUSD names new Hillcrest Elementary principal

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis (WKBT) -- The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District is getting a new principal.

The district announced Doug Dieckman as the new principal of Hillcrest Elementary School for the upcoming school year.

"Mr. Dieckman impressed the interview team with his passion for education and dedication to student success, and we are confident that he will be an excellent addition to our school," Superintendent Jeff Holmes wrote in a press release.

Holmes also stated that Dieckman has experience in "various aspects of the educational process" and elementary administration.

Dieckman currently serves as a 4k-12 principal for the School District of Loyal.
