Viroqua celebrating 27 years of wild west days

VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) -- The Viroqua community is proudly celebrating 27 years of Wild West Days.

Despite yesterday's rain, the festivities are in full swing, with everyone enjoying a wide range of activities.

The event kicked off on Friday, with Saturday bringing excitement through pizza, puzzles, and beer competitions. Teams of four competed, each tackling a medium pizza , puzzle and eight beverages of either beer or soda.

Today, attendees could experience a unique Sunday service in an authentic wild west church, followed by the much-anticipated high noon parade. The fun and excitement continue, with something for everyone to enjoy.

"The whole city kind of backs us up a little bit, so it's kind of nice. All of our neighbors are good to us. I want to thank everybody for coming. It's very nice they come out in this nice beautiful weather," said Mike Moran, President of Wild West Days.
