19th annual Steppin' Out in Pink returns to La Crosse

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- An honored tradition is coming back to La Crosse.

the 19th annual Steppin' Out in Pink is helping raise money for breast cancer research and patient support programs.

Any T-shirts that were not picked up on the designated days were mailed to the recipients. Additional pick-up opportunities are available at the event's registration tent.

Gundersen Medical Foundation's Philanthropy Program Coordinator said the event is open to everyone, and even if you attend alone, you can still participate.

"If you have never participated before, it's a great event to come alone. I have had people ask do they have to be a part of a team, can they come by themselves, can they come with 50 people, and the answer to those questions is yes," Olivia moths, Philanthropy Program Coordinator, Gundersen Medical Foundation.

Sign-up is still open for those who haven't signed up yet. The event kicks off on September 14th at 9:00 am.
