(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department is releasing the name of the man killed in a shooting on the city's south side on Sunday. Police say the victim is 21 year-old Tariq Reynolds. Investigators say the shooting happened Sunday afternoon as Reynolds was trying to intervene during an argument between two men, one of whom was 19 year-old Martavius Green of Atlanta. Reynolds was shot during the argument and later died of his injuries.
