(25News Now) - Summer has come and gone and the first day of High School Sports are here. Today was the first day of official practices for fall sports teams all across our area. That includes Football, Flag Football, Girl’s Volleyball, Boy’s Soccer, Golf, Girl’s Tennis, Cross Country, and Girl’s Swimming and Diving.

The Troy High School football and boys and girls soccer teams have been practicing on the new home turf fields over the last week. The improvements, including a new scoreboard, were made possible due to generous donors and STEP for Trojans Committee at no cost to taxpayers.
