On Sunday, July 28, a strong thunderstorm surprised park visitors, causing a scary flash flood. Multiple areas of the park quickly filled with water, and videos shared online by park visitors themselves show gushing canals of muddy water rising up to their ankles and, at times, their calves."Careful!" says a park visitor and a TikTok poster, visually summarizing the situation. In the video, park visitors are allegedly walking towards the exit while fast currents of water run over their feet. Towards the end, one clip shows the conditions of the parking lot, where some cars are partially submerged.
