It’s the first release in Basinski’s Arcadia Archive series which is “dedicated to the discovery and recovery of his life’s work” and will feature “archival piano recordings captured at Arcadia, his former loft in Brooklyn.”

Oasis are back and everyone’s celebrating, including Weezer, who took to social media to welcome the band back. They posted a screenshot of Liam Gallagher, who’s known for engaging with fans (and haters) on social media, responding “yeah” to a 2021 tweet asking if he likes Weezer, and then in a followup tweet, Weezer said, “Anyway, here’s Wonderwall,” referencing a popular meme and also posting a video of Rivers covering the song at a 2018 San Francisco solo show. Jeff Lynne‘s ELO kicked off what they say is their final outing, the “Over and Out Tour,” at Palm Desert, CA’s Acrisure Arena on Saturday night (8/24). These are their first shows since 2019, and they started with “One More Time” from the album they released that year, From Out of Nowhere, and also played lots of classic hits, including “Strange Magic,” “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Evil Woman,” “Turn to Stone,” and “Mr. Blue Sky,” which ended the night.
