TNF Week 1 DFS Showdown: Ravens vs. Chiefs

(-110, BetMGM) It’s time to take advantage of uncertainty. The betting public does not know which Green Bay wide receiver is the top passing option, but I feel strongly it’s Christian Watson. The 25-year-old former North Dakota State wideout stands 6-foot-4 and runs a 4.36 40-yard dash. When Watson has been on the field, he has always produced. Per our FTN Splits Tool, Watson has consistently eclipsed this number and has posted one touchdown for every two games he has played.

Props of the Game: Packers vs. Eagles, Week 1

Donovan Edwards is a former five-star recruit who despite limited touches has flashed immense talent. This year he will get a chance to lead the way for the Wolverines with the departure of Blake Corum. The last time he handled a lead role was two years ago after Corum went down, and he posted three straight 110-plus rushing yard games and averaged 7.1 yards per carry on the season, which led the Big Ten and was top ten in the NCAA that year. Last year, Edwards regressed with Corum’s return — he lacked efficiency, averaging a career-low 5.0 yards per touch. He only amassed 746 scrimmage yards and scored only 5 touchdowns.

We have an embarrassment of high-end, high-upside pitching options available on this Friday MLB DFS slate, and while they are all priced accordingly, it is difficult to not get lost in the choices available. There are also relatively few trustworthy value options available, and as is the case more often than not at this point of the season, there are plenty of attackable arms that very likely will lead to an abundance of crooked numbers, so we don’t want to spend our entire allocations on high-quality pitching when we also want a reasonable path towards upside on offense.
