( NewsNation ) — Chick-fil-A is opening the first “elevated” drive-thru restaurant in the chain in Georgia on Thursday.

The new restaurant, located outside Metro Atlanta in McDonough, Georgia , is a drive-thru-only restaurant that has four drive-thru lanes and an elevated kitchen with a “unique meal transport system,” according to a company news release .

The meal transport system is a sophisticated conveyor belt that streamlines food delivery, and according to the company, will allow for a meal to be delivered to an employee every six seconds. The kitchen is double the size of the kitchen in a regular Chick-fil-A restaurant.

Jonathan Reed, the executive director of design for Chick-fil-A, said that the new restaurant design is intended to help customers who lead busy lives.

“We’re aiming to deliver quality food and genuine hospitality in a way that’s uniquely Chick-fil-A and gives our guests time back in their day,” Reed said in a company news release .

This is the second new type of restaurant the company has opened this year. It comes just months after the opening of Chick-fil-A’s first-ever mobile pickup restaurant in New York City, which focuses only on delivery and mobile app orders.
