Border report: Deputies found 26 migrants locked inside a tanker attached to an abandoned semitrailer parked at an Eagle Pass, Texas, gas station on Wednesday. Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber said a deputy patrolling the area heard screaming and knocking coming from the trailer. Fentanyl lawsuit: An Oregon hospital is facing a lawsuit filed by more than a dozen families whose loved ones were injured or killed after a nurse allegedly stole fentanyl from intravenous drips and refilled them with tap water that caused bacterial infections. The lawsuit filed by 18 families accuses Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon, of negligence concerning a former nurse “prone to drug misuse,” according to court papers. It claims the hospital failed to “screen and monitor their employees for drug diversion” and failed to “monitor the medication dispensary.” Read more >

No longer considered missing: Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton announced it is no longer considering Lance Cpl. Bailey Cameron as a missing person. The 23-year-old, who is scheduled to exit the Marine Corps on Monday, was reported missing Aug. 25, a day after video shows him leaving Coyote Bar and Grill in California the night before without his backpack, sunglasses and phone.
