Disturbing images from the murder location where Dee Dee Blanchard, the mother of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, were found have been brought back into the public eye on various social platforms.
Even though Gypsy Rose has been in the public eye ever since she got out of jail a year ago, the recent re-sharing of her photos has reignited curiosity among her followers.
In the final months of the previous year, Gypsy was released from jail after spending seven years behind bars for the murder of her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Pitre, in 2015.
Dee Dee was discovered dead in her home in Springfield, Missouri, with 17 stab wounds to her back.
Her passing occurred after Dee Dee had been urging Gypsy and her associates, including her medical professionals, that her daughter was dealing with ongoing health issues.
Dee Dee attributed these health problems to Gypsy being born prematurely.
She claimed her daughter suffered from leukemia, asthma, and muscular dystrophy, requiring a wheelchair and daily medication.
It was later discovered that Gypsy's mother had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, also referred to as Factitious disorder Imposed on Another (FDIA).
Just two days after Dee Dee's discovery, Gypsy and her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn were charged with the murder.
Photos from the crime scene, which were made public years ago, have been found again, showing the living conditions of the home where Gypsy and her mother resided at the time.
The images depict a packed home filled with suitcases, trash, and individual items scattered everywhere.
One image displays a wheelchair used by a traveling Gypsy in a bathroom, and another image reveals a cabinet filled to the brim with drugs.
The residence in Missouri, constructed by Habitat for Humanity, was originally intended for Gypsy and her mother.
The latest snapshots also featured images of Dee Dee's bed, stained with blood, which left many on social media in disbelief.
