    Miami Man Arrested For Battering His Elderly Father With A Fan

    Miami, FL - A 30-year-old South Florida man has been arrested on charges of battery on a person over 65 years old.

    According to Miami Police, Kemuel Emmanuel assaulted his father during an argument at their shared apartment in May.

    The incident reportedly occurred after Emmanuel's father advised Emmanuel to "change his life" and "do better for himself."

    Emmanuel allegedly responded by throwing a fan at his father, striking him in the foot.

    Emmanuel fled the scene before police arrived, but was apprehended on Tuesday.

    He remains in custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
