Miami-Dade prosecutor asking the judge for more time to additionally charge mother in her twins' homicide case.

The long-awaited toxicology report was finally turned over to the state in the potential double-murder case of a Miami-Dade mother, Shirlene Alcime, who is accused of killing her twins.

Back in February, Alcime jumped off an overpass in the Golden Glades an attempt to end her life leaving her 3-year-old twins for dead in her SUV, foaming at the mouth.

Today the judge was told that the Medical Examiner's report was partially conclusive.

The state asked the judge to set another hearing for August 23rd so she can determine what new charges the 42-year-old mother should face now that the ME ruled the twins' death a homicide but did not specify what was found in their systems.

Currently, Alcime is charged with two counts of child neglect causing great bodily harm.
