Person of Interest Named in Henrico Double Homicide Investigation

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Henrico Police Department announced Wednesday that there is now a person of interest in connection with a double murder in the county that took place back in March.

Xavier Perkins, 36, is considered armed and dangerous and is also wanted in Richmond on unrelated charges.

At 5:02 a.m. on March 29, 2024, Henrico officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Nine Mile Road for a call of a firearm violation and shots fired. Upon arrival, authorities found two men – Jermarlo Tisdale and Rufus Witcher – dead with gunshot wounds inside of a business.
