Council Rock Newtown Little League team wins state title, heads to Mid-Atlantic regions

NEWTOWN, Pennsylvania — A Bucks County Little League team is celebrating after winning the Pennsylvania state title on Monday.

Council Rock Newtown will now advance to the Eastern Region Mid-Atlantic tournament. They face-off against Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. The team is heading into the tournament undefeated.

If the team of 12 year-olds comes out on top, they will head to the Little League World Series.

Council Rock Newtown will play Washington D.C. at 1 o’clock on Sunday. You can stream the game on ESPN+.
