2 Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Football Sleepers For 2024

The Cincinnati Bengals are getting ready for the Joe Burrow rebound season. Of course, the Bengals won’t be defending an official title or any kind this year, but they will be tasked with proving that they still can be one of the premier teams of the AFC.

With plenty of time having passed to allow the national spotlight to forget the Bengals, a few more gems might be worth a deeper look.

Here’s two Bengals fantasy sleepers worth considering in 2024.

    Zack Moss, RB

The Bengals shipped out Joe Mixon this offseason. While Mixon’s great production might be gone, his replacement offers plenty of hope for 2024.

According to ESPN’s depth chart , Zack Moss is on deck to start the season at running back. Moss started just eight games last season for the Colts, but racked up nearly 800 yards on the ground.

As such, getting Mixon’s replacement could result in a top-15 back for a fraction of the draft capital. If Moss ends up on a list of three or four options in the third or fourth round, he is definitely worth the risk.

    Tee Higgins, WR

The Bengals’ second wideout could become the team’s top target overnight. That’s because Ja’Marr Chase is still holding out. If the hold out continues into the season, Higgins could be Burrow’s right-hand man. If any additional chemistry is established, Higgins could become the quarterback’s top target this year. As a player playing on a franchise tag, Higgins would be in prime position to get a pay raise after the season.

First, though, managers would be in line to get a massive return on investment on Higgins. That is, if they draft him higher than they otherwise would have. If Higgins is available alongside some of the lower-end No. 1 receivers in the league, he is absolutely worth the gamble.

Even if Higgins only plays up to his level in 2021 and 2022, managers would be getting a 1000-yard receiver and about half of a dozen touchdowns. Of course, the risk is that Higgins could show up in 2023 form. If that happens, he will earn about 656 yards and five touchdowns (he was limited to 12 games due to injuries). However, that’s the case with sleepers. Sometimes, sleepers awake, and sometimes, sleepers sleep.
