Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are set to battle the Arizona Cardinals in a competition between the East Coast and the West Coast. With the Cardinals leaving the desert behind to face the Bills in the shadow of Niagara Falls, they will not have the home-field advantage. However, even with this bonus for Josh Allen, this will be his debut without Stefon Diggs.

First impressions are lasting and how Allen plays will be his first impression without Diggs. Will he leave a good impression?

Here’s a look at three bold predictions for the Bills quarterback in Week 1.

Josh Allen will have two passing touchdowns and two interceptions

Allen’s arm and his ability to read defenses have always been controversial. After his performance in Week 1, little will be answered. Of course, two touchdowns and fewer than two interceptions would be ideal.

However, throwing two interceptions in a contest where one’s most realistic top receiver is rookie Keon Coleman in his first start leaves plenty of questions.

Some will note the two interceptions as worse than the two touchdowns. Meanwhile, others will note the two touchdowns as more important than the two interceptions.

Either way, Week 1 won’t solve many questions for the entire Bills fan base, but it will lead fans to confirm what they already believed heading into the contest.

He will score two rushing touchdowns

In addition to his lukewarm touchdown numbers through the air, however, Allen will deliver on the ground. In two big red zone moments, he will break the plane of the goal line for a total of 12-14 points. The rushing touchdowns will help bolster his believers but will be completely discredited by his doubters.

Allen will sprint into the endzone on a broken bootleg play. On this play, the receivers will be tangled up with the defenders, including the quarterback spy. This will let Allen look through a couple of reads, pull the ball down, and run the last few yards through the flat to the end zone. At the end of the play, he will flip the ball in the air after the wide-open run.

Josh Allen will lead a game-winning drive ending in a touchdown

Put simply, this will be a tougher game than many expect. Kyler Murray will be back in his best form playing under Jonathan Gannon. With Marvin Harrison Jr. also in tow, the passing attack will be a sight for sore eyes for Cardinals fans. The Bills defense will be caught off-guard, forcing Allen into a hole late in the game.

Allen will get the ball last with an opportunity to score a go-ahead touchdown. With mere seconds left on the clock, Allen will score the game-winning drive in a somewhat unsightly performance for the entire Bills team. However, at the end up the day, they gut out a win, courtesy of Josh Allen.
