Okaloosa County man charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – On Friday, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office charged a man with 25 counts of possession of child porn.

Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, and the Multi-Agency Drug Task Force executed a residential search warrant at a home on Fir Avenue in Niceville.

Investigators said they obtained the warrant after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child pornography.

18-year-old Matthew Elliot is charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of possession of sexual imagery involving animals, and the use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
