PA YOUTH LEGION TOURNEY STARTS TODAY IN HOMER CITY
Today is the start of the PA Youth Legion State Tournament at First Commonwealth Bank Field in Homer City. Four games are on the schedule for today, and it starts at 10:00 this morning with Upper Perk taking on Monroeville. At 1:00 PM, its Sunbury-Norry vs. Trafford. Indiana County teams will start play at 4:00 when Indiana County League Champion S.W. Jack takes on Hamburg and at 6:30, host team Homer City Post 493 plays Boyertown. The day will end with fireworks after the late game and an appearance by the Pirate Parrot.

LORETTO, Pa. - The Saint Francis men's and women's tennis teams announced their schedules for the fall on Friday. The two teams will play in a total of eight tournaments from Aug. 30 to Oct. 20. The women's team will play in five tournaments. The men's team will play in five as well and possibly a sixth if any player qualifies for the ITA Conference Masters on Nov. 7-10.
