SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KEYC) - On Saturday a group of masked individuals marched through Pierre and Deadwood and displayed Nazi symbolism. The Neo-Nazi group called the “Blood Tribe” claimed responsibility for leading the marches in South Dakota as they have in many areas across the country. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) describes the Blood Tribe as a “hardcore white supremacist group” with beliefs that combine elements of exalting Adolf Hitler and “a variant of Norse Paganism.”
Man injured when he hit deer with motorcycle near Lead
LEAD, S.D. - At around 8:40 p.m. on May 27, the Lead Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motorcycle crash about 4 miles south of Lead on US Highway 85/US-14A. Upon arriving, firefighters found a male rider who had been thrown from his motorcycle after colliding with a deer on the highway. The rider, who was wearing a helmet, sustained minor injuries.

BHSU names new dean of education
Black Hills State University has named a new dean of the school of education. Longtime educator Jarrett Moore assumed the position this week after years at the university. A Macon, Georgia native, he has a 25-year background in education at levels ranging from middle school to higher education. He started at BHSU in 2017.
