VCS Holds Inaugural Charity Golf Outing for the Families of Fallen Officers

VCS Software, a leader and pioneer in workforce management, is excited to announce the Inaugural VCS Open. The charity golf outing reaffirms VCS’s longtime commitment to law enforcement and support of the New Jersey State PBA.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the NJSPBA Survivor and Welfare Fund, which provides support to the families of officers killed in the line of duty or who are experiencing significant personal hardship.

“New Jersey PBA Locals have supported VCS for over 26 years, and it’s time to give back,” said VCS founder and CEO Guy DiMemmo.

Golfers will hit the links on September 3, 2024, at the Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club for an all-day event of not just golf, but other fun competitions and activitiesall with the goal of raising money to build back the fund, which was severely depleted during the pandemic.

Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses, from tee sponsors to branding on signage and apparel to top-tier packages.

The event, which DiMemmo intends to hold annually, is also notable for being one of, if not the first fundraisers benefitting the NJSPBA Survivor and Welfare Fund held by a private or civilian organization.

“We feel it’s only right for us to support them,” said VCS Product Specialist Mike Babulski, who is also a retired police lieutenant. “They’re supportive of us and we want to try to do the same for them.”
