Venice Police: Woman stole $55K from elderly man
VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) - A Venice man is reporting more than $50,000 in losses after police say a trusted friend took advantage of him. It happened after a hip replacement. The victim was used to driving himself to the bank every month, but after the surgery, his friend Nora Krasowski offered to set up a virtual account and monitor his funds herself. In this period, the victim showed police record of 48 Zelle transactions, as well as numerous transactions on his credit card.
