Blood-donation nonprofit OneBlood, which serves hundreds of hospitals in the southeastern U.S., has been hit with a ransomware cyberattack that is affecting Florida hospitals, according to a release. SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -Rain chances of the last few days will be lower for the next few days. Some slightly drier air will move in and drop the rainfall probabilities by 10% to 20% through Friday. The general pattern of rain timing and motion will remain the basically the same. Slow moving storms move inland and then return to the coast late in the day. The major difference today will be the reduction in the number of storms that are able to form will be less than yesterday.
Gov. DeSantis seeks to nix legal challenge to Monique Worrell's suspension
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Gov. Ron DeSantis is trying to end a legal challenge to his controversial decision last year to suspend Orlando-area State Attorney Monique Worrell. State lawyers Friday filed a 25-page motion arguing that a federal judge should dismiss a lawsuit filed by two residents and the group Florida Rising Together that alleges DeSantis violated voters’ due-process and First Amendment rights in the suspension.

Storms are still expected, with a chance for scattered showers starting early in the afternoon, but rainfall should not be widespread.
