    One arrested after deadly crash in Norman

    NORMAN, Okla. ( KFOR ) – One person has been arrested in connection to a fatal crash in Norman Sunday afternoon .

    According to the Norman Police Department, officers responded to a collision involving two cars at the intersection of Rock Creek Rd. and 60th Avenue NW around 12:27 p.m.

    The investigation revealed that a truck was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Rock Creek Rd. and did not stop at a stop sign. This led to a deadly collision with an SUV.

    Officials say there were four people in the SUV. A 40-year-old woman died from her injuries and a 38-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. There were also two children in the vehicle, a 13-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy who were taken to a nearby hospital in serious but stable condition.

    According to NPD, the driver of the truck, identified as 22-year-old Bradyn Brown, left the scene. He was later arrested and booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on complaints of First Degree Manslaughter and Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Injury.
