    Hanahan Man Killed After Striking Tree With Vehicle In North Charleston

    HANAHAN, S.C. – A Hanahan man has died following a crash Saturday in North Charleston. According to the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office, Alan Aguilar, 18, of Hanahan was one of two people to die in the collision.

    Katherine Garcia-Nativi, 20, of North Charleston also lost her life in the crash.

    According to Coroner Paul J. Brouthers, the crash happened around 12:50 a.m. on Altamaha Drive in North Charleston.

    Aguilar, the driver, and Garcia-Nativi, a passenger, died after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. The North Charleston Police Department and Dorchester County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate.
