Jack White and his band are set to play a benefit concert at the American Legion Post 82 in Nashville on Saturday (July 27). The intimate show is a fundraiser to get the legion a new sound sound system. White announced the gig with a post on Instagram, writing, “Nashville! The American Legion Post 82 needs a new sound system and Third Man Records & Jack White would like to recruit you to help. Carbondale Police release name of stabbing victim
CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Carbondale Police have released the name of the person stabbed to death Saturday and clarified previous statements made about the investigation. Carbondale Police say Traeshonne Blythe, 31, of Carbondale was killed during a fight early Saturday morning in the 500 block of East Sycamore. Police say Blythe knew his killer and the fight involved the theft of a vehicle. As of Tuesday morning, no arrests had been announced.
