Perryville, Rising Sun mourn losses of well known officials
PERRYVILLE — Officials and residents of two Cecil County towns are in mourning after the loss of two well-known former elected officials. James “Jim” Eberhardt, Mayor of Perryville from 2004 to 2018, died Tuesday morning. He was 80. Clint Bowers, former Rising Sun Commissioner who served several terms between 2004 and 2012, has also passed. He was 89. The Cecil Whig is working on getting stories from people in each community who knew these men well.
