Free Summer Shakespeare Returns to Hubbard Hall with “Twelfth Night”
Cambridge, NY, July 25, 2024 Hubbard Hall is pleased to announce the return of FREE Summer Shakespeare in the Park with the classic comedy of mistaken identity, Twelfth Night. Directed by Lake George native Megan Stacey, the play follows the adventures of twins Viola and Sebastian, who each suppose the other is dead after a shipwreck separates them. Set at a modern-day beach resort, Stacey’s rendition of Twelfth Night packs all the fun of summertime into the bard’s light-hearted exploration of gender, sexuality, and love.

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA—The Clark Art Institute continues its seasonal program series, Sensing Nature at the Clark: From the Outside In, on Sunday, July 28, at 2 pm. Clark educators lead a slow engagement with nature and art focused on enhancing well-being and encouraging visitors to connect with the landscapes on the Clark’s campus and in the galleries. The event begins outdoors, with a short, mindful walk in the woods designed to engage the senses with the natural environment; a contemplative art-looking experience in the galleries follows.

Psyche represents the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being, while love, or sensual attraction, is the physical side of things. Put the two together and you have the essence of this play: the material and the ethereal in conversation with one another.
