City of Youngstown passes cease-fire resolution
Youngstown City Council passed a resolution calling for a cease-fire by a 4-3 vote on June 20. The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation had been aware of city council’s intention to work toward a resolution, but didn’t expect the resolution to be passed at the meeting, Bonnie Deutsch Burdman, executive director for community relations and government affairs at the Federation, told the Cleveland Jewish News.
