Man arrested for machine gun conversion device in Corrigan pleads guilty
BEAUMONT, Texas (KTRE) - An Arkansas man arrested in Corrigan in 2022 for possessing a machine gun conversion device pleaded guilty Tuesday. Jajuan Lee Bonds, 23, of Little Rock, was arrested on July 21, 2022, after a traffic stop turned probable cause search found an illegal device to convert a handgun to a fully automatic weapon. On Tuesday, Bonds pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge Christine L. Stetson in Beaumont.

Traffic stop leads to seizure of drugs, firearms, and a POI in Pulaski County kidnapping case
A multi-jurisdictional investigation continues as evidence of a reported kidnapping, aggravated assault, and torture of a Searcy resident in Pulaski County has been uncovered. During a traffic stop last Wednesday on Highway 67/167, officials located 33-year-old Renford Williams of Jacksonville who had an active trafficking warrant out of the Cabot Police Department. Williams was also a person of interest regarding the reported kidnapping, aggravated assault, and torture of a Searcy resident. During the traffic stop, officials located approximately one pound of methamphetamine and approximately 1000 fentanyl-laced pills. Searcy police then activated its Special Response Team to execute a search warrant at Williams’ residence in Beebe. At Williams’ residence, the Special Response Team seized 16 guns, 3 pounds of methamphetamine, 600 fentanyl pills, one ounce of cocaine, two pounds of marijuana, 2 tasers, and miscellaneous paraphernalia.
