No charges in animal cruelty case at Valley Center High School
VALLEY CENTER, Kan. (KWCH) - The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office will not be filing charges in a case of animal cruelty in Valley Center. The case involved allegations that the Valley Center High School baseball team had killed a chicken on the field before an away game on April 20, 2024. The field is located on USD 262 property behind the district’s intermediate school in the 700 block of North Meridian.
