Today the AWESOME hails from Wichita. I’m talking about YouTube star MrBeast. He’s known for his charitable initiatives and giving. He had funded surgeries, given away homes, planted 20-million trees and more. Now, he took his talents to the oceans of the world. He announced this week that his TeamSeas initiative has successfully removed over 34-million pounds of trash from the ocean. The project, launched by MrBeast and fellow YouTuber Mark Rober in October 2021, aimed to raise $30-million to remove 30-million pounds of trash from the world’s oceans and rivers. Two days ago, MrBeast shared that TeamSeas exceeded their goal, removing 34,080,191 pounds of trash from oceans worldwide. With all his kindness and giving, a lot of people are wondering what he plans to do next. Giving back in a big way thanks to his success, MrBeast, THAT’S AWESOME.
