The house exploded just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the town of Lincoln in Madison County. Crews from several police and fire departments arrived at the scene and found a man and a woman trapped in debris, said Samantha Field, a spokesperson for the county. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man was airlifted to a hospital, she said. The man’s condition wasn’t immediately released.

Teenager Walks into Hospital with Gunshot Wound, Police Investigate
(WNY News Now) – SYRACUSE, NY – A 17-year-old male walked into University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left hand, prompting an active police investigation. On Saturday, July 20, 2024, at approximately 9:47 p.m., uniformed officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to University Hospital at 750 East Adams Street. The officers found the teenage victim in the emergency room, suffering from injuries consistent with being struck by gunfire. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.
