Perris Man, 65, Arrested for Alleged Involvement in Circuit Breaker Thefts Across Riverside County
Riverside County Sheriff's Office has reported the arrest of a 65-year-old man in connection with a string of circuit breaker thefts that have been plighting the region's new home construction areas. The suspect, Eugene Popa of Perris, was nabbed on July 16 and is believed to have been operating a "fencing" network, profiting by reselling these stolen goods, often through online channels. In a report posted on the Sheriff's Office website, it was detailed that Popa's arrest followed a months-long operation by the Southwest Sheriff's Station's Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team (RBST).
Temecula Man Suspected of Series of Burglaries Arrested After Chase, Bail Set at $100,000
After an intensive bout of investigative work, Riverside County Sheriff's deputies have nabbed a man linked to a spate of commercial burglaries. The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Joseph Roybal of Temecula, was known for a distinct modus operandi stretching through Temecula and its outskirts. The Southwest Sheriff’s Station’s Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) had been on his trail since June when patterns began to emerge, pinpointing Roybal as a key figure.
Suspect attacks security guard with skateboard at Santa Ana Target
SANTA ANA, Calif. - Police in Santa Ana are looking for the person who was seen on security footage attacking a Target security guard with a skateboard.
