Cops 4 Cancer Summer Bash Returning To Cedar Point

Two days of live entertainment is planned as part of this years Cops 4 Cancer Summer Event. Labor Of Love Looking For Individuals In Need Of Home Repair Help
An annual charity helping seniors and others repair their homes is ready to dish out some more love. United Way of Eastern La Salle County is again accepting applications for their “Labor of Love” program. “Labor of Love” provides essential home repairs for senior, disabled, and veteran homeowners, at no cost. Repairs are provided to homeowners who cannot do the work themselves because of financial or physical limitations.

July 20th, 2023, Seneca, IL – Chaser Ellison from Morris, IL, emerged victorious in the American Fishing Tour (IL 39) tournament. OSF, Ottawa officials to continue to meet on hospital plans
OSF HealthCare requested a deferral last week for its permit applications to discontinue Ottawa’s current hospital facility and build a new one. In a July 17 letter to the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board, OSF senior vice president of healthcare analytics Mark Hohulin said the reason for the request deferral is to allow needed time for representatives of OSF to meet with city of Ottawa officials to discuss their opposition to the proposed projects.

Fire Departments Respond To Reported Garage Fire In La Salle
A fire broke out Monday afternoon a few blocks northeast of L-P High School. Just past 12:30, La Salle, Peru and Utica firefighters were called about a garage on fire in the 800 block of Lafayette Street. The detached garage was fully engulfed by time crews started arriving. Nobody was hurt in the blaze and it was contained to the garage.
