According to police, the incident took place on July 6 at Morey’s Piers and Beachfront Water Parks.

Witnesses told police they saw a man decapitate a seagull.

WPVI reported that Zeigler asked staff for a trash bag while holding the dead bird.

The North Wildwood Police Department stated that while investigating the incident, Zeigler “was irate and uncooperative,” leading to his “arrest for Disorderly Conduct & Resisting Arrest, both Disorderly Persons offenses.”
