Northampton Police arrest 4 persons on drug, motor vehicle charges

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP)– A traffic stop in Northampton Wednesday morning resulted in the arrest of four persons.

According to the Northampton Police Facebook page, a Northampton police officer stopped a car on Pleasant Street around 9:35 am for an expired inspection sticker. The officer noticed drug paraphernalia, and upon further inspection, found  27.81 grams of cocaine (trafficking weight), 5 grams of crack cocaine and 50 bags of heroin.

All four persons in the vehicle were arrested and face the following charges:

1. 53 year old male from Holyoke, MA

• Cocaine, Trafficking
• Drug, Posses to Distribute Class A, Subsequent
• Drug, Possess Class B, Subsequent
• Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
• License Suspended, Oper. MV
• No Inspection Sticker

2. 44 year old male from Northampton, MA

• Cocaine, Trafficking
• Drug, Posses to Distribute Class A, Subsequent
• Drug, Possess Class B, Subsequent
• Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law

3. 58 year old female from Northampton, MA

• Cocaine, Trafficking
• Drug, Posses to Distribute Class A, Subsequent
• Drug, Possess Class B, Subsequent
• Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law

4. 54 year old female from Northampton, MA

• Cocaine, Trafficking
• Drug, Posses to Distribute Class A, Subsequent
• Drug, Possess Class B, Subsequent
• Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
