Greater Cincinnati set to lose more than an hour of daylight in August
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - As August begins and the summer solstice has come and gone, total daylight continues to decrease. From the start of August to the end, sunrises in Cincinnati will be about 27 minutes later and sunsets will be 40 minutes earlier. The result is a loss of over an hour of daylight by the time September arrives.

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - In just a few days, marijuana will no longer be just for medical purposes, but for all adults in Ohio. Starting on Tuesday, anyone over the age of 21 with a valid ID can buy marijuana from more than 200 dispensaries statewide. Voters said yes to making it legal for recreational use in last November's election, but retailers still couldn't sell it.

West Nile Virus found for 2nd time in 1 month in Greater Cincinnati mosquitoes
SPRINGDALE, Ohio (WKRC) - For the second time in less than a month, health officials have found mosquitoes testing positive for West Nile virus in Springdale. This latest case was found near the intersection of Glensprings Avenue and Springfield Pike on July 24. The first case was found in late June, just a few miles south in the Glenview subdivision.
