    Williamsport, Pa. — Here is your daily look back at standout moments of the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series:

    Standout performance

    Ciou Zhi-Kai finished off a no-hitter Wednesday for the Asia-Pacific. He also hit a single, scored a run, and brought a runner home.

    Clutch hit

    Hayden Takahashi hit a two RBI single in the opening inning of West’s game against New England. It might have happened in the first inning, but it was enough to keep West in front for a 3-1 victory.

    Defensive gem

    Eassie Miller snagged a line drive down the third base line for the second out of the sixth inning against New England. Miller then touched third for a force out to end the game.

    Pitch of perfection

    Antonio Guerrero struck out 11 batters in five innings for Mexico. He also combined with Raul Hernandez Jr. for a no-hitter in the opening game of the tournament.

    Making the dream work

    Southeast pounded out eight hits against Midwest. James Feliciano struck out 11 batters. Luis Calo fanned a batter and picked up the save.
