Williamsport, Pa. — Here is your daily look back at standout moments of the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series:

Clutch hit

Greyson Gage hit a single in the first inning to score three runs for Pennsylvania. It was on after that point as the Newtown kids captured a 12-2 victory. They are rolling right now.

Defensive gem

Three pitchers combined to help Mexico rebound with a dominant performance against Canada. Raul Hernandez Jr., Francisco Aguilar, and Dominic Balderas combined to scatter two hits and strikeout eight.

Pitch of perfection

Vincent Ruggiero struck out seven batters and scattered two hits to help Metro stay alive with a 4-0 over Great Lakes. The performance included a 1-2-3 third inning.

Making the dream work

Metro used a four-run fourth inning to separate from Great Lakes Sunday afternoon. Nicholas McLean and Jake Romero each had two hits. Vincent Ruggiero went five innings with seven strikeouts.
