Lewisburg, Pa. — A couple in Lewisburg was charged after police were called to their apartment for a domestic dispute in progress.

Patrolman Caleb Gehman of Buffalo Valley Regional Police responded to the call early the morning of July 26. Gehman spoke with Alyssa Fogle, 21, and Liam Conner Schum, 27, at the scene.

Schum told police he and Fogle had been arguing all day. The argument eventually turned physical and Fogle began throwing Shum's stuff when he said he wanted to leave, according to the affidavit. Fogle also allegedly dumped a cup of water on Schum and kicked him in the back. Schum allegedly punched Fogle in the face.

The two continued to fight until police were called. Gehman noted Schum had scratch marks on his chest and upper arms, as well as marks on his right bicep and an abrasion on his back.

Fogle and Schum both were charged with misdemeanors of simple assault through the office of District Judge Jeffrey A. Rowe.
