It's Ren Faire season: Boalsburg faire returns

Boalsburg, Pa. — Enjoy a Ren Faire celebration in Centre County this September with the return of the Boalsburg Renaissance Faire.

Marking its third year, the faire will be held at the Columbus Chapel & Boal Mansion Museum on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 11 to 6 p.m.

The faire will feature period reenactors and lively demonstrations, authentic Ren Faire fare, majestic horses (perhaps a unicorn or two?), a castle bounce house, incredible music and dance, and an array of artisans, crafters, and more.

Participants will also have the chance to learn about the European legacy of the Boal family tree — the inspiration behind this Faire rooted in history and nostalgia.
