Lock Haven, Pa. — Investigators have released their preliminary report into the plane crash that killed a 17-year-old Hughesville girl earlier this month. A witness near the site told investigators the Cessna 172N airplane, flown by Maisie Bitler, was only 200 feet above the ground when it passed over him just before the crash. Danville, Pa. — A couple living in Danville confessed to having three-way sex with a 15-year-old during interviews with Pennsylvania State Police. Dennis James Aikey, 43, and Bethany Landis, 38, both of Danville told police about the abuse during interviews at the end of June, Trooper James Nestico said. Danville, Pa. — Surveillance video provided by a restaurant contradicted a man’s story about a car hitting him and attempting to drive away. Berwick, Pa. — A man who was screaming about religion and witchcraft at a public pool was cited for being disorderly. Troopers were called to Ber-Vaughn Pool, 6084 Park Road, Berwick, on Saturday at 8 p.m. for reports of a disruptive man. The man, identified as 35-year-old Eli Gilsky of Berwick, was allegedly screaming loudly about religion and witchcraft, causing the crowd at the pool to become alarmed and annoyed. Wanted man allegedly flees police
Williamsport, Pa. — A man wanted out of Lehigh County allegedly took off from police when they tried to take him into custody. Deputy Joshua Wolfe of the Lycoming County Sheriff's office said he was notified last month that Julian Enrique Davila, 24, had an arrest warrant and was in the Williamsport, according to charges. Wolfe made contact with Davila in the 50 block of Willow Street on June 15 around midnight, but Davila reportedly fled on foot. Wolfe gave chase and caught him two blocks later. Davila, Allentown, was charged with fleeing police and evading arrest. He previously served 10 days in jail in Lehigh County for the same charges, court records show. Docket sheet
