Crestview Main Street revitalization project closes road; detours in place starting April 15

CRESTVIEW — Due to the ongoing efforts of the Main Street revitalization project in downtown Crestview, a portion of Main Street, from Industrial Drive to Woodruff Avenue East, will be closed until further notice beginning Monday, April 15.

During the road closure, crews will remove existing roadways, landscapes and brick pavers. The detour for drivers will take motorists along Woodruff Avenue East along South Wilson Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

Drivers can still access Industrial Drive, and the Woodruff Avenue East intersection will remain open. Sidewalks and front entrances to businesses in the affected area also will remain open.
