Wise Guys Liquors opens Chesterton location

The Duneland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting May 29 to celebrate the opening of Wise Guys Liquors’ new location.

The event will take place at the new Wise Guys Liquor Superstore, 504 E. County Road 1100 North, in Chesterton. Community members are invited to attend. Raffle items and samplings will be available at the celebration. Learn more about the event here .

“We are opening the new Wise Guys Liquor Superstore in Chesterton, offering the largest selection of liquor, wine and craft beer in Northwest Indiana,” said Rick Green, general manager, in a press release . “Wise Guys’ knowledgeable staff will help you with your wine needs or that hard-to-find liqueur for your perfect cocktail.”

Green oversees the daily operations for Wise Guys Liquors’ three locations in Valparaiso, Hobart and Chesterton. Based in Merrillville, Wise Guys Liquors was founded in 2008 as a part of the WiseWay Foods family. Green’s career with Weiss Entities began in 1976 as a grocery bagger at WiseWay.

The Chesterton-based Duneland Chamber of Commerce serves the towns of Beverly Shores, Burns Harbor, Chesterton, Dune Acres and Porter. The chamber promotes economic development in the Duneland area, and offers community events and educational programming.
