    Bar employee shot at Norwich nightclub

    NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — A shooting at a nightclub sent an employee to the hospital early Sunday morning.

    Around midnight, the Norwich Police Department arrived at the Latin Quarters Restaurant & Lounge on 80 Broadway after a shooting took place.

    Officials say upon arrival, a male identified as an employee of the nightclub, was found outside the establishment’s front door suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

    The employee was taken to Backus Hospital and then transferred to Hartford Hospital where his injuries are listed as non-life-threatening.

    Norwich police’s Detective Division responded to the scene to collect evidence. There have been no reports of arrests or suspects.
