La Verne (Calif.) Bonita class of 2025 wide receiver Dylan Robinson has set his college commitment date, he informed Blue & Gold’s Kyle Kelly on Wednesday.

He’ll pick his school publicly July 18, and the programs with the best chance to land him are Notre Dame, UCLA and Washington. He officially visited each school in June and had great experiences on each respective campus.

UCLA is considered the team to beat for Robinson according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), largely because he he’s visited there three times, the most of any school that On3 has recorded. But Washington has been a major threat for a while in his process, and Notre Dame, despite only hosting him for a visit once, has surged in the past couple months.

Robinson has formed strong relationships on the Fighting Irish staff since they offered him at the end of April.

“The coaches, man. The conversations that we were having made the visit so enjoyable,” he previously told Blue & Gold about the ND coaches after his official visit. “It really felt like a family over there.”

Head coach Marcus Freeman, offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock, wide receivers coach Mike Brown and director of player personnel Chad Bowden were all key figures of Robinson’s South Bend trip that occurred June 11-13.

“Those are the people I was talking to the most out there,” Robinson said. “Freeman looks scary, but he is so nice. Honestly, he’s a great person.”

Notre Dame has been known as a contender for the claim of both Tight End U. and Offensive Line U., but that narrative might shift under Denbrock moving forward.

“I’m excited that the Irish are starting to move to a more wide receiver heavy offense, and it’s going to be cool to see them start to throw the ball,” Robinson previously told On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

As a junior, Robinson caught 22 passes for 514 yards and six touchdowns. A two-way standout, he had 69 tackles, four interceptions and five more passes defended.

Robinson is listed as the No. 187 overall recruit and No. 8 “athlete” in America according to the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. He’s getting looks from schools at both receiver and defensive back; Notre Dame is recruiting Robinson as a wideout.

The Irish currently have 21 commitments in their 2025 class, a group that ranks No. 7 in America per the Industry Ranking Football Team Recruiting Rankings.

The Irish have two other receiver commitments in Atlanta Woodward Academy’s Jerome Bettis Jr. and Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic’s Elijah Burress. Notre Dame is also in pursuit of Las Vegas Bishop Gorman’s Derek Meadows and Houston Dekaney’s Tanook Hines at the receiver spot in the 2025 cycle.
