Notre Dame Football channels Wolf of Wall Street with new jersey reveal

Notre Dame Football has revealed their brand new jersey by hilariously channelling The Wolf of Wall Street. The team previously spoofed The Hangover and Jerry Maguire to tease their fresh get-up . Now, it's the Wolf's turn.
The Fighting Irish chose to show off their special uniform with a spin-off of the movie, which follows the fast stockbroking life of Jordan Belfort, played by Leonardo DiCaprio , who hits a wall after a Wall Street Crash.
The Shamrock Series is taking the Irish to Yankee Stadium on November 24, moving Notre Dame to spoof the Martin Scorsese-directed 2013 blockbuster set in New York City and New Jersey . The result was hilarious.
Head Coach Marcus Freeman brought out his inner Belfort - "Sell Like a Champion Today" sign and all - to give a pep talk to the Notre Dame players including Jayden Thomas and Riley Leonard.
In the clip, Freeman, who has led since 2021, reminds his charges they're the ones who win games , not the uniforms. The Irish's latest special Yankee Stadium jerseys add gothic, chrome, gold numbers to the usual navy blue threads.
The Irish began parodying movies as part of their jersey releases two summers ago when they were preparing to hit Las Vegas as part of the team's Shamrock Series.
Notre Dame tapped into The Hangover, the Vegas -set comedy starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. Then, Freeman, Isaiah Foskey and Michael Mayer travelled to Sin City in search of the new uniforms.
Last summer, Freeman showed Audric Estime, star of 1996 flick Jerry Maguire, Notre Dame's new green jerseys, to be worn in the team's clash with Ohio State.
It comes after the Notre Dame received praise for a new short-documentary looking at their role in the 2023 Aer Lingus Classic as the home team against the Navy Midshipmen.
